Description

This started out with huge, majestic cloud towers in the background, but I decided that was too grandiose and opted for a kite instead. Less-is-more sort of thing, I figure subtlety works better than WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This is a tribute to Hervé Martin (that's the new site; the old site is here, beware pop-ups). Martin does a lot of psychedelic photomerge-type stuff that inspired me when I was first getting into the whole Photoshop thing. Their work is sometimes a little cliché -- they're especially fond of "hot chick randomly being there" -- but alot of it is great, especially the early stuff. I mean, take a look at this. And this. Their art will always have sentimental value to me. Credits: Statue and kite (whoops, not there) by clix Background rendered in Bryce by a toothpick See you next time. EDIT: i shouldn't be assuming people's gender identities. i apologize. edited to fix that.
