My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Fabulous terrain and lighting.

What's most effective about this is the expert rendering and sense of color and scale. I especially like the smoke in the background, hinting at a raging fire rather than showing it outright. That, to me, heightens the mood and calls attention to all of the other great elements of this render. Fantastic work with a profoundly wonderful sense of subtlety!

Excellent image Keith, I just love that red rock work and the way the sunlight captures the terrains differently. The smoke you've added is a great example of how it should be done. Overall this is a stunning image, a fav for sure. Tony :-)

The canyon terrain is most impressive. Love that mat and the way you have capped the terrains is most interesting to me. Another excellent image Keith!:)))

Wonderful depth in this render, Keith. Fantastic work on the lighting, looks like an early morning sun. The smoke lying low in the canyon is a great touch. Superb terrain work .. a natural for you.

You created a wonderful sense of dread here with the smoke rising out of the canyon; as Chip said, not the graphics of the flame, but knowing what's coming. Great textures and colors!!

Way beyound - Very good work... the mist/fog calms the sun that most of the time would keep one from seeing the beautiful changes in red hues...It reminds me of some of the area around Bryce Canyon on the way Zion...A++++

Like the smoke effect and light on your terrains, definitely a sense of realism in your render...reminds me of the big fire we had a few years back here in Kelowna,BC.The addition of the foreground trees helps to give a sense of depth, and your render is as crisp as ever...well done Keith!
