yep... light is photography, writing with light. In studio you can't have any excuse of an error, because you control the light, the pose, the background, etc. Because of that, it's very difficult to do... Outdoor, you can have excuse because you cannot manage the light, but you can play with it ! This is another difficulty. Pro is just a name, the most important is your result, not the hardware or the years of experience. I really like your results :o) Continue in that good way my friend ... create your own photography, step by step. This one is very nice ! compo and light are great, but blacks are a little bit hard, i cannot see details anymore. Play reflectors ;o) See ya !

"professional" photog..well have been one since 1973, and the word "Pro" means you accomplish, no matter what it takes, what you are being paid to communicate in a picture. You make a contract to say something ordinary or extraordinary with an image and if you are a "pro" you deliver, without apologizing for failure...because yoyu don't fail. That's what being a pro is about..success under any challenges. The image you accomplished here could be sold as a number of concepts dealing with a person realizing escape from a boring job,a bad relationship, remebering a passionate moment in a sexual encounter, success in an accomplishment..etc,etc. You have a great eye for imagery...if you want to turn pro, you could if you understand that you are looking to portray a visual support for a written concept which sells a idea. Now as a Fine arts photog, you can do this..but if you want to be a commercial pro..you have to create whta your paying client wants to say in a pic.
