Description
Created the legs for my walker tanks. They fold under the tank for drive mode and extend during rough terrain combat. Any suggestions on improvements?
Thanks

Hey Archlite, been looking at your spider tank prototypes, overall so far so good! I do have a few questions and suggestions. My questions would be, what kind of engine would this tank utilize, i.e. would it be a regular diesel or a gas turbine engine? Also, what type of cannon is mounted on the turret, and what type or caliber is the coaxial rotary machine gun, or is it an autocannon? And where would the fuel and spare ammo be stored? For suggestions, you might want to take another look at the folding "feet" on the legs. Although they are a nice idea and very functional, you may want to make the feet a bit more "flat" and, if possible, just slightly wider when touching the surface, to give it better traction and stability, but that's just my opinion. You may also want to strongly consider having weapons installed on the hatches of the turret for (I'm assuming) the commander and the loader. .50 cal machine gun, 40mm grenade launcher, 7.62 minigun or some other weapon with a remote viewing system, allowing the weapons to be aimed and fired from inside the turret if necessary, would be an idea. You may also want to consider adding a bow and/or rear machine gun, and ERA (explosive reactive armor) panels on the sides.
