Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

They don't call it an idiot box for nothing.
kjer_99
Well, your last sentence darn near sums it up for me too. And, I'll bet the idiot pitched a brick through the car's window instead of the winds.
EnglishBob
Well, you can cool it You can heat it 'Cause, baby, I don't need it Take your TV tube and eat it 'N all that phony stuff on sports 'N all the unconfirmed reports You know I watched that rotten box Until my head begin to hurt From checkin' out the way The newsmen say they get the dirt Before the guys on channel so-and-so (Trouble Every Day - Mothers of Invention)
delbeke
Now this is crative and imaginative! Excellent

Love your picture. As for the homeowner clocking the journalist, now that's something I'd love to see as well.

First, the image itself. Spectacular lighting, and very creative use of a cardboard box for a t.v. -^ Tell ya what, if I encountered a reporter on my street last year in the aftermath of the Groundhog Day tornadoes, he/she would have caught me cussing like a sailor -^ Sick to my stomach because at least 6 people died in my backyard. When looking at this image, Tool's Vicarious plays in my head -_^ Eye on the the TV 'Cause tragedy thrills me Whatever flavor it happens to be, like... "Killed by the husband" "Drowned by the ocean" "Shot by his own son" "She used a poison in his tea...kissed him goodbye" That's my kind of story It's no fun 'til someone dies

Awesome image of 21st living!! and I fully agree with your statement too!!

I like your image (as I do with all of them) and your commentary. On that note I want to add, I find it detestable when the various local governments and authorities use their power (ie, the guns of the police and national guard) in the aftermath of a natural disaster to keep people from returning to their homes and property in their efforts to salvage some portion of their belongings. Our individual rights and freedoms are increasingly being stripped away.
DreamRage
Great composition, good idea and fantastic work on the execution !
