was working on this one this was the first try working copy. when makeing final adjustment bryce crashed died and burned. so this is a 1 of wysiwyg Spacebones camouflage textures shukky,s bonetech sisus1 suit lisa,s india grass

Very cool image!Just went through the infamous bryce crash on my latest posting...thank god I saved frequently as I went.Great use of various models,nice terrain work and ATMO!

i gave up saveing in bryce do to the fake saved 199gig files that just take up 199gigs of space and crash bryce if you use it! burned 1 time too many too many times!

Neat image Dave! I can appreciate the Bryce crash and burn issue - I run into that quite a bit when adding new textures to stuff I create. In fact I got into the habit of doing parts of objects / scenes and saving them as individual presets so I have a library as such of parts which I then assemble for the final image. It sure saves a lot of headaches.. Have a good one!

I have not had any Bryce crashes though I have experienced geometry errors on load with props I made in Carrara. Every crash sets you back in pacing the estimate of the scene. I have found that crashes are real in an authority space made up from parental supervision, bosses chew outs and just the normal street brawling that goes with right of way. Starting to believe they are objective or mechanical accidents gets you into trouble.

Mmmmm, nice action! If it's any consolation I've found Vue to me more unstable than Bryce ever was! And God knows I crashed and burned all last year with Bryce.

Well, welcome to the "You-shouda-seen-what-it-was-gonna-be" syndrome, Pal. Call me funny, but it seems to me that it has been mostly with the Bryce 6.0 and up versions that I've had the most trouble. (I always have some trouble, because I'll push the limits of whatever program I've got, but I used to be able to save up to 700MB files without a problem--although it might take awhile to load. With these later versions, I can be told that I'm out of memory with a 120MB file!!! and I'm lucky if I can bet above 300MBs.) Anyway, your present render still looks great to me and I like it much better than the previous four or so renders.
