Daughter to angry, overbearing school principal: " But mommy drew on my bedroom wall, I thought I could draw on the classroom wall too...It was a nice picture, wasn't it?" ;o) I hope that you didn't get your daughter into any trouble, Kathleen. A great idea though. Mind you, my wife would have killed me! I must confess that I did ( when about 3 years of age ) follow my uncle around, pulling wallpaper off the wall ( at least at the corners ) as fast as he was putting it up! My twin brother helped me in this enterprise, but gave me all the credit... A year later, and not yet at school, I was getting praised by Miss Fry ( our primary school headmistress ) for scrawling names in chalk on the rear wall of our building. This was after she had told all the other schoolchildren off, and tried to find out which one of them had done it! I gathered, at that early point in my life, that adults just weren't consistent when it came to rules... As Easter draws near, may you and yours have a wonderful, joyful time together. Warm regards ( and big hugs for Easter ) Kathleen from busy-bee John.
