Description

Do you remember when I showed you the photo of our picnic in Procyon? thumb_1619942.jpg These statues represent the race native to this planet, in their early stage, when they were a young and combatant race. They have been extinct for thousands of years but recently an archeologist discovered some evidence that led him to believe that in the final stage before their extinction they had evolved to the configuration now shown in this new image. They seemed to have become peaceful and spiritually evolved but, somehow, they also looked sad and the spark of their youth seemed completely gone. This is a reconstruction based on a stained glass found in remarkably good conditions (I have a photo of this glass somewhere, I will try to find it to show you later).

Very interesting. Excellent modeling. Impressive. Are they sad because their youth is gone, or are they sad at all? A dolphin's smile is completely false. They can't smile of frown so they look happy all the time. Is it the same with the Procyoni? Perpetual sad looks without regard to real emotion? Or discovery of a secret that broke their collective hearts? Very thought provoking. Well done!

He looks sad and resigned to his fate. Very touching. You manage to portray expressions even in stone faces- really well done.

Great character modeling- you really captured the look of wisdom and sadness- and even a slight resemblance to Spock (Leonard Nimoy) maybe? Again- wonderful modeling- very impressive!

Great character work. If this were the cover of a mystery scifi book, I'd buy it in a sec. I sense a deep mystery to this series.
