Description

This is the first in a long series I am going to do on the Harlem Valley Phsycreactict Center. This place was made somewhat famous by the move Trapped in Silence (http://www.harlemvalley.org/harlem/movies.shtml). It has since been abandon and will soon be torn down. I am going to try to get photo's of the area's in the pictures in the move so you can see what it looks like today. This is one of the Doctors houses that is on the property. I thought it was a nice place to start... Black and White for Effect only.

After reviewing the photos from the movie, I think this is oen of the pretty places there. The majority shown in the movie photos are imposing brick buildings.

I have some of those building as well. I plan on my next visit to get the Bowling Ally and Hospital. The Hostpital is the one where the Station Wagon is driving up the hill. The Bowling alley has not been scene or touched in years. This is a sad sight these days... It moved me to take these pictures. I have more that will go up when I get back from vacation.
