Description

The ancient Egyptian Chief God - head of a Ram, and was later adopted by the Greeks as Zeus. This was my entry into the Ancient Egyptian Mythology contest. I was going more for a videogame boss character you'd have to fight at the end. Maybe someday I'll learn how to rig characters better, I'll put it through BodyPaint, and post another version. C4D for all the modeling, Photoshop for textures and postwork as well as After Effects. Any and all comments and crits are welcomed and appreciated - especially the crits as I have a LOT to learn! Thanks fo rlooking- -Lew ;-)

Forgot to add Mudbox for modeling as well - base cage in C4D, and MUCH more sculpting and refinement in Mudbox.

I like the way the textures on the columns pick up the light. Your lighting really brings out the best in the textures. Lighting is everything in my opinion, and I like yours. Nice modeling and sculpting too! Ryan- ____ Cinema4D R10.5:..:Modo301:..:Adobe Photoshop CS2:..:Corel Draw X3 Suite "To the last I grapple with thee. From hell's heart I stab at thee. .:I like this. I've always been a fan of your art but is there a reason you've moved away from work such as "...A Little Paint", "Coming Home" and "Southwestern Living" I think those older works you created are more impressive. But I still like the new work you've done!:.
