Appolo would be a Romans name, has he defected and joined the Scotts? Great wall prop. Great snow. (only teasing - I know its Anton Keisels figure)
decadence
Nice scene...I think the height of the wall and tower would have been much higher.
Nod
Nicely done. The wall would be higher though. And on a mound.

decadence enjoyed your pictures of Hadrians Wall, i missed on the walls scale here, thanks all for your comments :)

The wall varied quite a bit depending on the terrain and materials at hand, so this could be pretty close to the height in some areas...west of the river its 10-12 feet or so... is that a 5.5 foot guard there? Looks like a 10 foot wall to me... and of course guarded by the Romans, duh. Pretty cool to do something historic. Nice.

No matter if the wall's too small or not - the atmosphere is striking! Love this one a lot, please do more, I'd love to see some new works from you!!!! Take care, ~Sassy~

Hadrian's wall was built by Hadrian to keep out the pesky Picts (ne Scots). Like all of the others it did not really work. An excellent depcition of a frontier that even the most civilized find formidable.
