the heads is shape diff . I foregot which is which but the American alligator is in Florida. Not sure about Louisiana. Alligators are characterized by a wider snout than crocodiles. the first shot I posted was a alligator with the babys and the one with the bird was a crocodile. both will kill you and put you under a log so you can rot a little and then they come and eat you. You are right they are danger in them. real good shot

This one is an alligator. Note: most the visible teeth point down because the upper jaw is larger than the lower. A Crocodile has matching upper and lower jaws, so both upwards and downwards teeth are very visible. Also, an alligator has a shorter rounded snout and a crock has a longer pointy snout. Both will be glad to accept handouts...lol. Cool pic Evie. I agree with Goldi.. He looks rather happy. Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

The alligator here is very quick. Some folks were about two feet from her saying she just lays there when a loud motorcycle went by a ways away on the road behind her. In less than a second she had flipped around almost on her back and leaped off the bank in mid air into the pond and safety. Being cold blooded and in the sun can provide a lot of energy.

Wider snouts. Crock's mouths and shouts are skinny and not as wide as a gator's.But both just as deadly.Cool looking shot your friend got there
