Gilliadson Shadowbane is a member of the Knights of Truth, and an honorary member of the Soldiers of Tunare. He is the Husband of Sineliniel and the Father of Myrikel. Gilliadson was born to Sir Gilliad and Lady Alani Shadowbane of the Commonlands. Shadowmanor, the Shadowbane estate, was sacked and destroyed by Ambassador D`Vinn and his escort while on their way to Crusbone in exchange for safe passage through Freeport to the docks. Gilliadson and his father were away on business. After burying their dead, Gilliad confronted Lucan D'Lere, the dictator of Freeport, D'Lere bannished the two Shadowbanes and had them put on the next ship to Faydwer. Gilliad and his son trailed the Dark Elves into the Greater Faydark where the two of them were captured by a Wood Elf patrol and taken to the High Elf city of Felwithe. King Thex, the High Elven monarch, granted the two Shadowbanes permission to stay in the Wood Elven tree city of Kelethin while they sought to capture D`Vinn. Gilliad and a patrol of Wood Elves rescued Sineliniel and her brother, Elwinde, from a patrol of Orcs who were about to kill the two children. Gilliadson and Sineliniel met the next day and became friends. Over the years of the two of them running together, the grew to love each other and eventually Life-Bonded.
