a very sweet portrait, partly because you've captured serious expressions (where they're not posing & trying to be "childlike," but rather just 'being', just reflecting...). I also like that you caught them in a diagonal line (one head higher than the other) which points to the vast world beyond the picture; and that you've captured the leafy, overgrown feel of South India—which I know solely from the people I've known who were born there, from their descriptions & pictures, etc. One South Indian, a yogini, said "sometimes in my part of the country, I look out and think the ancient Epics are playing themselves out even now..." Gentle & peaceful, with thick overgrown surroundings: I think it's beautiful.
