Description

This is the port of the City of Port Sa'ed... I took this shot from the window of my hotel room. It was quite a view from up there... Hope you like this shot... PJ told me how to work on my focus... I'll try and apply her wonderful tips and show you what I get... Love, Nahla

Aye, this looks a lot clearer, Nahla. It is nice to see something of the places that my neighbours, and relatives served in during the Second World War, and up till about 1954. I am sure that there has been a lot of building since that time. I've heard that when new building sites are started in Alexandria, the builders pray that they will not uncover any archaeological site. That slows down their development, and costs the developers money. Ever since visiting the opticians, last week and getting a new pair of distance, and a new pair of reading glasses, I'm definitely seeing a lot more than I did last week. My distance vision is much, much better. My double vision is not.. My camera still suffers from a lot of shake, still though. The optician cannot do anything about that. I took a hurried shot, from Glasgow city centre, the other day, of two planes almost side by side, a mile or two above the city. I must have at least four planes in that shot.. ;o( Have a very good week, my friend. I see that you have many happy memories from your holiday. Treasure them. Cherish the good times and store them away, for the lean times and shadow times. Warm regards, John.
