LOL, Kathleen. Excuse me while I sit down and hold my right side ( old 'war wound' ). Ah, that's better. I seem to remember something similar, but it tended to be at an earlier age, and usually some breakfast food that the two older boys did not fancy... ;o) They did not attend nursery, and disdained fingerpainting having learnt to draw before going to primary school. The youngest lad, just hated art and crafts, while his sister lives and breathes it. I see that they did not spare you the tubes of paint. I still have a couple of tubs of the paint powder, which I bought over 20 years ago, which is still dry. I came across it at the last 'Spring Clean', but apparently nurseries these days have to use specific suppliers and declined to use it, on health and safety grounds. Coincidentally, I was out shopping with my daughter today. She was buying supplies for her current nursery class presentation. She could not stop herself buying yet more poster paints and new brushes, for a Springtime themed work she is planning for Easter week. It has taken her weeks to get her 'weans' ( kids ) to call her Miss Kane, rather than Mrs. Kane! Soon she will move on to another nursery, probably hours by public transport from her home, as part of her college training. She just loves kids. Thanks for sharing this one, Kathleen. Now if they were to paint you with chocolate on Easter morning, I am sure you would not waste a drop... ;o) Warm regards, and thanks for the dedication, John.
