Description
The White Stork is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae.
It is a huge bird, 100-125 cm (40-50 in.) tall, is completely white except for the black wing flight feathers, and its red bill and legs, which are black on juveniles. It walks slowly and steadily on the ground. Like all storks, it flies with its neck outstretched.
According to mythology, the 'stork' is responsible for bringing babies to new parents. This story probably came about because White Storks have a habit of nesting on buildings in urban areas, so they are often seen around human habitation.
Here, on the nest, I think they are counting there eggs, but why they lifted there leg simultaneously?
Maybe the’re practise a dance for the soon coming newones, a pas de deux:
(French, step/dance for two) is a duet in which ballet steps are performed together.
Take care, have a great and wonderful day

Wonderful Work!!!

nice shot, well caught. the dance is a display, which pairs go through when they change-over at the nest. when one bird arrives to sit on the eggs, the other goes off to feed, but first they go through a greeting and recognition routine - "how was your day on the nest, dear ?"
