Photo by Alex Rescued by this same lady, this baby blue jay is about 2 weeks old and what a cutie! I haven't seen many Blue Jays in my life, they seem to be a bit elusive, and have seen only photos of a baby once before. Alex makes me feather earrings (because of my native heritage) and he found blue jay feathers and made those for me at Christmas. I have more photos of the squirrel and the bird so I will make a collage of each asap. Hope you like this one, when seeing this the song that popped into my head was I'll Fly Away... Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments on Oh Baby! and for those who favorited that and so many of our images, we are most honored!

Ah, cute! I've saved a baby blue jay before and it grew when it was old enough, it flew away one day. it takes up a nest in the cherry tree nest door :) Good shot, Alex, and the feather earrings are cool, i'm listening to music right now and just as i looked at the picture, I'll Fly Away came on, and when i saw what was written, i was like, "weird..." it was cool! :)) Great job, keep it up, guys!
