Very interesting...if I tilt my head to the right a bit and look at big stone with the water droplet on it, it looks like a frog! hehe cool. and very nice one Mick! good day to you.

Very artistic shot. I think Jeff will take a great interet in this one Mick, with having that Stone smoothing machine of his. Got to agree with Mike, the big one looks like a frogs head lol.

It looks like a big smiling fish to me, as well as a frog! I like the lighting, it gives a feeling of great intimacy, sharing something very close.

I like it a lot Mick, the stones look great even in B&W, they are already polished to a certain degree. The garden centers are prety good places to get these from and they are often cheaper than sending of for rough stones. I got some, what they call pea gravel from B&Q, I do not have grass in my garden, it's paving, crazy paving and gravel. I bought about twenty sacks of this pea gravel and it contains loads of stones that I can polish up. I also like to get others, such as crystal and agates, amber and jet, even petrified wood. See you've set me off, once I start I don't want to stop. lol. Excellent capture Mick, and theres nothing like a bit of practice indoors to get yourself familiar with your camera and its settings. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

This looks like you could have a lot of possibilities with it. It is an interesting idea, and this one is not so "off" but I almost get the sense that it could go 90º clockwise and look better? But if I look at this same image tomorrow, bet I'd like this one better. It's hard to say!! ;o) Do more experiments and let's see what you come up with.
