No suprise here, some ants found the honey on the tree and a feast ensued. I kept it large so you could see the detail better. Still though, it is a cropped photo and reduced 50% from the original size. I also rotated it 90˚� counter clock-wise. BTW, these ants are between 2-3 millimeteres in length. :o) My thanks to cfulton for inspiring me with his impressive "High on Sugar" photograph. -----

They look so normal, but we don`t register them because they are so small..... What a great snapshot! Suddenly they awake to life, and we can see, what they are really do. Absolutely fascinating to see them standing in a row and licking some goods... Thanks for sharing.

Highly socialized ants, which I'm in constant battle with in my condominium, following their instincts, sopping up the sweet stuff. Great POV, textures and lighting mood effect in this snap, old buddy! Incidentally, I like your profound Adamic quote, which I'll use at my next family gathering.
