Description
Most of Comrade Mikoyan's creations would go vertical. So, here's one doing just that.
(By the way, this is my centenary image. I reckon I just came of age on RR. Hope you enjoyed some of them. I certainly had fun making them).
My kindest regards to all viewers.

Dear Warren, congratulations on exceeding the first hundred.I am grateful to you for commenting in a most sincere way and this will be another great learning moment for me of those many I will have to experience. I have always been trying hard to depict moments or things or impressions I consider important. This particular structure is a city TB hospital that has been in such a rickety state due to lack of funds for quite long. It attracted my attention me and my elder daughter were returning home from a session on some old and almost ruined structures (warehouses built in the mid-19th century) by the river. Another important thing was the façade with a variety of window types (hence Eclectis) that also caught my mind. Honestly, we both were concentrated on the architecture then and I thought that it should be rather appealing (some of the viewers did read the message). I believe that what you are saying about photography is part of the truth, like any other generalization or opinion, and the true photographer is not the only one who captures “the decisive moment”. Like any other kind of art, photography is boundless and the only criterion here is how sincere the author is. By the way, photographs remain in people’s minds for a variety of reasons as well and I don’t think there’s need to list them here. Point-and- shoot matters have nothing to do here, but you must admit some snaps may look amazing. And finally, none of my works has ever been intended for a competition or exhibition of any kind. I post to RR only to hear of how I could make it better. Thank you for your lesson and making me think. Guess you know why I chose this wonderful work of yours. I live in Russia Warmest regards, Nikolay. .
