Description

I took this image of the elephant chewing on small branches in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. I watched this big boy for almost an hour and was facinated by the seemingly easy way with which they grab a thin branch on one side and it emerges on the other side of his mouth with all the bark neatly chewed off. We were very close to him, but he was so docile and translike - just happily chewing away that I'm certain he did not even notice us! Thank you for visiing my gallery! Carin xx

Excellent capture! I could watch elephants for hours. We have them at the San Diego Wild Animal Park in their natural habitat.

Excellent place to be Kruger National Park.I went there 5 years ago.Would love to go there again to take lots of pictures with my digiatal camera and to share them with my Renderosity friends.Excellent capture.
