Posted per REQ, as a comparison to Portrait #8. This one was rendered straight 3D. I was reluctant to post it, because I was having trouble making the texture and bumpmap fit, due to the mesh being so convoluted, and all one piece. (Note the jaggies in the texture.) I'm just learning this program, so I know there are a lot of tricks that can be used to solve this-- I just haven't learned them yet! (I hope you're kind...)

Wow, this is an excellent image, well modelled and very well textured. You sound as though youre about the same stage as me, I did a head where I had to create textures (diffuse bump spec) and its very hard, but you seem to have done it extremley well on this. Well done.
