I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

The spotlight image is really good :)

Good lighting, Calseeor. =) I think her hand looks odd because of the shadow at the top of her fingers, but other than that it looks great. =)

Those clothes look real the face and the hand look off. Her facial expression and body gesture seem too bland for the event.

i like the facial expression/hand pose - heiesuke, i think what calseeor was going for here is a character in the dark caught in the beam of a bright light, squinting to see. neat pic cals. cheers, -gabriel
