Very nice pose, body language and washed denim effect, Kathleen. I like the decorated belt too. In England, all the paste jewellery, or real precious metal/semi-precious jewels worn on the body, or used to decorate clothing, is called 'Bling'. Your young lady looks so happy in herself, so confident, and ready to face anything that the future throws her way. Nice characterisation, or am I reading too much into it? I have seen 'arm warmers' before, or whatever you call them over the water, but I've never seen suspenders for them. Is this a new fashion? ;o) I hope that you and your family had a very joyful Easter. We were 'standing room only' at all the church services this past week. One adult Nigerian lassie was received into the church, and one adult received her First Holy Communion. Many children, and some adults who reckoned they were still children, availed themselves, as they left church, of Father's offer of a CADBURY's 'Cream Egg' ( a chocolate and fondant cream sweet / candy, about the size of a decent sized chicken egg )... ;o) Now that Easter is over all I've got to do, for today, is some shopping for obscure, obsolete items, at different ends of the city, a gruelling, bumpy bus journey for about 20mi / 32km, and when I get to my mother-in-law's bungalow, some more tree pruning and garden borders to dig over. My mother-in-law rassures me that all the snow, which disrupted traffic yesterday, will have melted and thawed by midday, and that the ground will be ready for fork and spade. I beg to disagree, since I nearly broke a pickaxe haft on it last year! Warm regards from a frozen Glasgow, John.
