My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

(A friend said I shouldn't write "very sweet" in comments because it's so trite. But I mean "sweet" as sweetness of life, a perfect moment & capture. So here's the comment again & I hope "sweet" comes off the right way!) You got the essence of Japanese design, you really did...their amazing 'minimalist' lines and curves, even the little holders they're on, all captured in a 'Japanese' fashion, simple but eloquent. Your white outlines on the bowls make this a soliloquy; and there's this wispy stuff in the backround (veined marble? smoke? I don't know!) which, when you look at it, is like rivers in the shadows. (Now that I see your next photo, I see it's a marble table. It's transformed in the b&w shadows!) A lovely capture, kind of in-the-moment, but with enough of Japanese stateliness to make the tradition proud. Very sweet.

The placement of the bowels for compositional purposes is very good, so is the lighting and choice of mono tone.
