Description

This is inspired by a comic I discovered in Forbidden Planet - US forces in combat with dinosaurs on a hidden Pacific island during WW2. Bomber is a .cob model while the Pteranadon is a DAZ model Hope you like it Iain

Nice concept, Iain. I like the POV, lighting and models. They must have turbo-dinosaurs on this island, then, to be able to catch the bomber... ;o) Regards, John.

Oh, man! STAR-SPANGLED WAR STORIES was one of my favorite quirky books from the early 60s. WW2 soldiers, sailors, and airmen versus dinosaurs and occassionally a guest appearance by a giant gorilla or his son.... bliss! "The War That Time Forgot" ran in issues 90 through 137, when it was replaced by Kubert's "Enemy Ace". http://www.comics.org/series.lasso?SeriesID=945 One of these might be the issue that inspired the image above-- http://www.comics.org/details.lasso?id=16099 http://www.comics.org/details.lasso?id=20244
