To me this one is beauiful the way it is. she took a nice pose and the composition is nice also. I like the soft look and the b & w coloring too. Maybe i would have done something about the little bit of sunshine in the upper left corner,it distracts. but that is personal. I think it is a very nice portrait.

I really like the composition and atmosphere that you've created here Caroline! Without studio lighting indoor portraits can be difficult to achieve without doing lots of postwork, so a lot of photographers tend to shoot outside. I do think that you've done a very good job with this one (perfect use of b/w) and the only thing that looks slightly out of place is the highlight in the top left corner which could've been cloned out or even cropped -with it being the brightest area on the pic it draws the eye to it. Despite that this is still a superb capture! Excellent work!!

yep i agree this is an excellent portrait with the concentration on the eyes but like said the distraction is the top left .a simple crop would of made this perfect :o) mick

very nice portrait and use of black and white with the hair marking out two sections to the shot (dark and light) and the eye obviously going towards the lighter area and thus where it should be as that is what the shot is of... anyway - hope that makes sense :) Nice job!
