Description

This is a Buddhist temple in Beanlmadena (Malaga) It has the largest buddhist "stupa" roof in Europe (The Enlightenment Stupa). It's over 100 feet high, inaugurated in October 2005. The temple is accessible to visitors and you can see a collection of works related to Buddhism, statues and literature. I took it from the opposite side everyone usually does, I wanted the sea in there. So I went up to the road, a bit difficult to get there. But I love the contrasts between these blues and pure whites. A splendid beauty with a wonderful view to the Mediterranean ;O) Thanks for stopping. i think looking for the not so obvious makes the difference between snapshot and a true story tell image and thats what you`ve got here .excellent elizabeth :o) mick

When I saw this at first I thought it was a fancy perfume bottle. Lol. It was only after reading your narrative and going back for a zoom look that I took it in. Well worth the extra mile for the more unusal pov, and what an excellent pov it is. Contrasting beautifully with the blue of the sea. Superb image. Bravo!!!!!

I can understand why you would want the sea in the background. It makes great contrast with the statue/object and gives the image a very peaceful feeling. And the title fits the image very well.
