Description

I happened to be involved in a project run by a local historic society. It gave me a chance to look at the local places taken by unknown photographers more then a century ago. Those images were powerful enough to evoke everyone's feelings. It is hard to explain why. May be nostalgia or may be something that we had and lost? Here is an image that I took 3 years ago and post-processed only yesterday. I got really inspired looking at the old photographs. The high resolution version of this image has a great texture, cracks that were lost during the resizing. Thank you for viewing and your feedback. Regards, Igor.

Your style lends itself well to a project like the one you speak of. The inspiration you speak of is evident here. Your trees are gorgeous as always, and the rustic barn and old farm equipment add a lovely touch. Is there a place we can view a larger version?

Superb stuff. In my eyes the fascination of these old photos come from the fact that they do not pretend to be something they are not. Just pure lust fo making a photo and do it carefully. As your images, they breath a similar mood.
