I am always amazed by some of the Victoria portraits I see here and can never create them myself. Here is my attempt.

nice one too. if u r using some other render machine eg VUE/Carrara/C4D..try to render and u will see the difference again:)

Great attempt, I think the realism in the portraits you refer to is very hard to achieve with out loads of post work. Real hair helps, but I bet there's more to it than that.

Pretty darn nice portrait. The skin texture and eyebrows (drawn in?) look particularly good. I think the hair starts to look not as nice, when up this close; not as natural looking.
