This is a pleasant and alluring landscape view, Lu. You are using the tools very well and integrating all of textures equally well. Only suggestion is to make sure your terrain planes go slightly below the working area to soften the squared off look of the plane edge. More, please.

You've actually got a really nice mood set for your picture, although you have the squared edge of a terrain visible. But you've definitely got things in the right place, you've actually done a very nice job with the foreground models (rocks, plants etc.). But everybody's got to start somewhere, keep on trying. You seem to be on the right path! -Grayson

This is well structured and composed, good atmosphere and lighting. To add variety to mountains have you tried the "E" edit, button on the terrains, and on the menu which opens "Fractal" has a little triangle pointing down, which opens loads of new mountain types.
