Description
Hi everyone! After not painting for awhile I finally started painting again. I watched Sweeney Todd and I was hooked! So I thought I would paint him:)
I really enjoyed painting this one, though I have to say it took much longer then I expected it to, guess I was out of practice.
Painted totally in PhotoshopCS using a Wacom tablet.

wow...I rarely come to Renderosity any more but I saw this image in the weekly mailer and had to come post a comment. Was this painted from a movie poster? The likeness to Johny Depp's character is uncanny and the detail in the work is wonderful. Very nice.

Amazing painting. I'd swear it was a photographic. You are so good. Only a few artists are that good that you can't tell what is just canvas and what is a photographic Wow.

I want to say that it's really a good picture but at first i thought that was all yours. I mean the pose, colors, expression hairstyle and more, which is not. I mean i have seen this image in internet too maybe from a poster or some kind of artwork from cinema. I think that is a remake- repainting over a picture just make from another artist or photograph from the movie. i mean in the 2008 with digital painting you can do every thing and is rellay easy to take colors from something that is ready like that. Btw i like it even if it's not a "painting from sketch" all yours.
