TMFV Page 033 This wouldn't be much of a 50's SciFi movie lampoon without featuring an atomic explosion. Still more to come. Comments always appreciated. Enjoy life!!

Great job on the entire scene and the effects, of course I know it can't be that easy to end their threat :)

Wow... talk about over kill ;-) the whole town and everyone in it must have been devesated as well... but you can't make an omelete withour brking a few eggs... in this case... a whole lotta eggs, one big Mushroom Omlete. Oppy should be proud, after all he provided that proof that there is a peacetime use for the bomb! love where this story is going~! collin

Behold, for I am Shiva, destroyer of worlds... and so on. Visually, I'd have to put this one up as one of your best pages. Each frame does exactly what it needs to do in an interesting way, and there's little clutter to distract the reader/viewer. The top panel works well not only with the expanding mushroom cloud but also the local plant and animal life that really help to put the explosion to scale. The bottom panel with the onlookers has the perfect camera angle in my opinion, not to far to minimize the visual effect of the goggles (it just looks dammed cool!). In short, great work once again.

Great! I love the lineup with the goggles. The desert landscape is a nice touch. Wonderful retro feel to these. I'm glad it's not over. I'm already hooked on your story and would miss these illustrations.

Yikes nothing like using "the bomb" to take care of your problems. Of course with the critters in the desert like that lizard makes me wonder what the fallout will do. To say nothing what will result from all the coughing and hacking that's been going around.

this series is fun to read. for some reason I envision the guy with the fedora to speak with a tight lip style of Rod Serling

Why is it the simple pictures are the most powerful? Regards Kev

Everybody loves a big explosion and this one looks great. The lizard was a good addition. The plane was good as well but the lizard or any living thing always seems to help us readers have a living element to represent our presence. Nice line up with the goggle people.

This page has great impact (!) - but I'm guessing that the Martian's aren't beaten yet!

Poor old Tor, he never really stood a chance. No 50's stip is ever complete without an atomic explosion somewhere. Most excellent work!

Everything looks great...even the stealth dropping the bomb looks great - It's a little out of the time era, but you're dealing with the government - They probably had flying saucers back then and we didn't know about it - lol.
