Description

Okay you guys. For everyone who didn't like seaweed (me included!) and who didn't like the raw fish (I love raw fish, but again - sushi has seaweed!) here's what MY lunch looked like! :) I had tempura. The tempura is great there. Two huge shrimp, onion rings, zucchini, eggplant, carrots, green beans, broccoli, (were there mushrooms?) and ... um ... sweet potatoes. I ate everything but the sweet potatoes. (I purely hate sweet potatoes. Just can't gag 'em down. It doesn't matter how you make them, if you put sweet potatoes in there, I won't like it!) I believe this concludes my lunch with Michele! No pictures of Michele herself - sorry about that. She wasn't feeling very photogenic that day.

I went to a friend's during the holidays for a holiday dinner and he fixed tempura at the table for everyone. The asparagus was my favorite. You can pass the sweet potatoes my way. Being purely southern by nature, I love my sweet potatoes.

Now I could eat this, minus the broccoli though. In our house it's like Jack Sprat and his wife, Pauline and I are always pinching of each others plates. lol. Especially cooked veg. I don't do cooked veg, give it me raw and I will eat it all day, carrots, swede, turnip, white cabbage, won't eat cooked but love them raw, grated and in a salad, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm M. Superb capture of the onion rings Tara, I would have prefered the shrimp in the shot as well though, I love shellfish. Bravo!!!!!

Tempura, also dipped in egg batter and deep fried. Heartburn coming on! Love all the ingredients mentioned, including one of my favorites, sweet potatoes, which I have in lieu of potatoes. That looks like one huge onion ring surrounding the other goodies in this fine shot, which conveys a good POV, super clarity, texture and lighting effects. Your title reminds me of movies such as: Breakfast at Tiffanys and Tea with Mussolini.
