Description
The front of the ship does look like a face - to me it looks kind of like a robotic gorilla drawn by Jack Kirby.

Another Foss/Elson/TTA inspired image, but this time a touch of Ron Cobb's "Alien" designs crept in to the mix too.

I think of something else, the Karos graveyard from Homeworld. You better watch out for those auto-guns and the Graveyard dawg, his bite is worse than his bark. But then Homeworld found its inspiration from Foss & Elson.

Great image! The background does have that 70s feel to it for sure. The regular-edged debris looks like the wreck was disabled in some way - or that it has strong parts but weak glue.
