Description

Everyone tells me this is a sparrow...I have never seen a sparrow colored like this or as fat as this guy is.If you know for certain what he is I would love to know...To me he looks like a cross between a sparrow and a chickadee...At any rate he sat there singing while eying the food pan and my P'Nuts squirrel as he ate. Maybe he was serenading P'Nuts:-) Two days ago it looked like spring was on the way, today we have about 2" of snow again...Hope your day is warm! Thanks for looking and for previous comments!

Lovely shot! Nice composition! Here in Britain, we call this a common 'House Sparrow'. We also have a very similar 'Tree Sparrow' with less marking on the chest.

Very well done! I don't know, to me it looks like a male chickadee, but i'm not perfect with birds... more reptiles and mammals:) Great job, and keep it up!

THIS IS HOW I FELT FOR A LONG WHILE. WHEN I WAS RECOVERING. VERY ALONE. PAIN CAN DRIVE PEOPLE AWAY. THE MIND CAN SHUT DOWN. NOW I AM COMING OUT OF IT ALL-CAN WALK MUCH BETTER NOW. I START A NANNY JOB IN APRIL. CARING FOR 5 CHILDREN FOR 4 DAYS OVER NIGHT AS WELL-FOR A COUPLE THAT DO AWAY TRIPS FOR THERE JOBS. WE ARE SELLING OUR HOUSE AS RATES KEEP GOING UP.
