Description
As promised the IRON FAIRY / IRN FAERIE. This character, a street statue artist, was wearing what, at first glance, appeared to be a really heavy set of props, but was just corrugated cardboard, string and some canvas painted.
He was standing in front of a bookshop in Buchanan Street at Gordon Street, Glasgow on Easter Saturday, collecting the occasional coin from passing tourists, shoppers and locals.
My daughter, big 'wean' that she is, tried to get him to laugh, but failed... ;o)
Medion Traveller digital camera, 6x zoom, and anti-shake mode. Enjoy, John.

Interesting capture, looks real. I'm an Englishman who this Summer will be visiting Scotland for the first time in my 50 years, we are staying over at Garve, a coach tour visiting Isle of Skye and the tourist points like John o'Groats, will be something different every day and I guess a few suprises!
