I have chosen this picture for my Egyptian book cover, I find it very interesting at the same time very powerful image for a book cover, I'm still thinking what the book title should be.
The trip to Egypt most probably will be at the beginning of August this year, I was planning to go to the Philippines for 3 weeks I have to see how can I combine the trip to Egypt and Philippines it's gong to be tough well I still have 4 months time, will see how the situation will be.
Yesterday my 3rd 500GB hard disk stopped saving files since there is no more space, on this hard disk I store only Poser stuff, since 2002 all my Poser renders including pz3 files, images, purchased Poser stuff I store on this hard disk.
Before I loose them or the hard disk goes crazy I had to think about a solution, although most of them I archived on 8.5 DVDs but apparently that's not enough. I went out to a PC store and bought the LG Blue Ray burner for 250 Euro and Blue Ray 25GB blank DVDs and I will start to store all Poser files on them, I can't afford to loose work done since 2002.
Well guys that's all for today it had been very hectic day as every day so I need some rest.

perfect for a book cover... especially since the eyes are closed... it makes one want to turn the page to see the goodies inside. Bugger about the HDD... eventually everything fills up.. and there's no where else to store stuff... scarifices have to be made, like in old Egypt.

Yes, really powerful for a cover, but at the same time powerful enough to present 3D- made eyptian themed art: colourful, moody, powerful... just the right one IMO. Title....Perhaps mix the old and new egypt with a little wordplay to 3d-apps as the medium? just a thought, never mind ^^ Great work and I keep my fingers crossed that all goes well!

very beautiful image and love the theme. The backup on the harddrive, I just did that not all that long ago. I also got a 750G second drive for the computer. May the age of Terrabit drives are here. Who would have thought?

a good choice for the book cover. :) maybe (in my oppinion) a slightly desaturated version would make it even better (or "older") - let's say add some amber/sepia effect and see, how it will turn out ...
