hello there...:). this time, sharing a personal 3D work done in maya - mental ray. modeling and lighting is done by my colleage, a sensible modeler Sajid Saim, where as i myself, handled the concept/design and texturing. went for a typical village street and for that, every point and aspect has been considered duing the concept (pre-production) and thru out the process. it was a fun collab and was very enjoyable. there might be few areas that come in the bracket of personal taste, which is always there and play a secondary role, though we didnt compromise on the important part and very much achieved what we were looking for according to our goals. happy viewing...cheers all...:).

jeez. I had to look a long time to find a "giveaway" on this. OK.ok I think the tree shadow looks a LITTLE "not right". Other than that, this is about the best model I've ever seen! The wires, antenna and INCREDIBLE textures... ya can't teach something like that. The rustic nature of the details put me in a "nice place to visit, wouldn't wanna live there" kind of mood. Outstanding!
