Well don't I know that feeling. :-) When my grand daughter was about this age we were fishing and she caught no fish. We had her set her pole down with the line in the water and walk up to the port-o-potty. While we were busy there, my daughter took one of her trout she had just caught and put in on her hook and through it back out. When we got back we started making a fuss that something was on her line and when she found it was heavy reeling in, she was so excited. Of course, it would have been better if the trout hadn't already died and gone stiff... LOL

I know how she feels. Was a place way up the hill we found that had a small pond and dam. Cost $5.00 a person to get in but you could catch fish all day long. I took the kids when they were all about that age there and wow did they have fun because as soon as the line hit the water you get a fish. After 3 years they stopped letting anyone come there and that was very sad because you always got fish from maybe 8 fish on a bad day but there was lots of good days where we get 50, 80 or 100 very easy. How I feel just like that girl now that we can not fish in the best fishing hole I have ever been to. I even hurt my back and if it was not for the kids I would not of gone on alot of the fishing trips but I went and as much as I like catching the fish I had a great time seeing the kids have a great time.

Doesn't every fisherman know that feeling, I know I have had it plenty of times. It never stopped me going back though, I knew that fish were there to be caught, so I kept going back. Some you win some you loose. Wonderful capture of the sad little girl, I bet she will look at this in a couple of years and laugh with everyone else. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
