Longgggg-standing interest in photography, first class in high school in the 60's, but was too expensive a hobby until my first digital camera about two years ago. Now I'm more prolific. :-D I am BRAND NEW to computers, so any advice on image enhancements probably should wait until I learn how to click, double-click, and drag...
I enjoy taking landscape shots and shots with a historical context, especially around Kittitas County, Washington.
The portraits in my icon and homepage image were taken last winter by the woman who is known here at Renderosity as PumaWalkingSoftly (aka Windchime Photography), thanks Laura!

Today the sun is shining bright but it is still very cold, yesterday we had wintery showers and more are forecast during the week. Like you say not the best of you photo's but it tells the story you wanted it to, poor little finches.

My goodness! It was in the 80's here today, and I had to mow the lawn! Wish I could send you some sunshine! :)

It was cool here today, but sunshine, and lots of clouds. Basically, a beautiful day as long as one wore long-sleeves. I sure hope spring comes your way soon! This is an excellent shot! ;o)

It sure does look cold there, and at least the finches are happy of a bit of warming food inside their tiny bodies. Great capture, take care hugs Jane xx

I don't know how these little birds survive the cold! Lovely capture and at least it looks as if they have a little shelter from the cold:)

It has been snowing here in the UK for the last two days in different parts of the country, thankfully it clears quite quickly. Great to have captured these two finches, I almost missed the one below! I don't blame you for taking the shot from inside.
