Description

UF4. ***Full View for More Detail*** This is an old homework image using the averaging technique. I'm posting this more as a test. I got my first Mac laptop for my birthday (17" glossy display, 2.5GHZ dual core, 4G RAM, 250G HD) and I wanted to be sure that colors are true.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm seeing greens and purple, so I hope those are the colors you intended for us to see. The leaves in this are so realistic that it's amazing, and the whole image is just truly lovely! I am wondering, though--did you use both mandelbrot and julia formulas, just in different layers? I may be mistaken, but it surely looks as though you've got both in there, and it's a wonderful mix, the way you did it. I'm taking Janet's first class now, and having a great time, so I know what you mean about homework; this piece is very well done!
