Description

Sweet with promise And a pastel wink You are a blushing goddess Dressed in pink. Credits: I'm doing an Iris Calendar, as well as a series of Art Prints and Greeting Cards, so that's why I am creating all the iris images. I never seem to tire of the beauty of this flower and painting them is very calming and healing. I just found out there is an Iris Farm in Boulder, that will be open in May. Imagine acres of blooming irises. Wow! I'm looking forward to taking more pics of my favorite flower. This was created in Photoshop CS, using a photo, painting techniques, a background by etomchek, and a butterfly by Jaguarwoman. Hope you enjoy. CC

I can imagine HOW gorgeous this farm must look. An Iris calendar with related cards etc is a fantastic idea. It will be a fantastic piece of work. As this is.

Gulp!!! I'm suppose to be a big tough rough hairy old bloke that wouldn't give you the time of day for a flower... but... now I'm a whimperng ball of jelly after seeing this... really is quite incredible Carol!
