Description

color comp for a new work for a competition and the Title was the Key to midnight. Wanted a fairy god mother part Mae West and part Margaret Dumont. escaping through a rose hedge from a manor house where she just got the key. A couple or more Will-O-Wisps’ came along for the fun of it. any thoughts?

Lovely watercolor. Great faeries, movement, colors, shapes and use of space. She is wonderful and does resemble a Mae West type figure. I also like how you painted the thorny branches.
