Really nice work Alex, The vol clouds work really well..if perhaps a bit low in altitude IMHO. I also think it needs a low mistas there is a lot happening at the lower levels but is very hard to distinguish what is what. Perhaps a misty effect couold help occlude far objects & increase the sens of depth for these lower level objects. In addition though that may bleach out wanted areas of data in the render....so it would require some careful management :) Love this shot another great addition to the series youve created. BTW: No need to keep mentioning me ...Its appreciated but not necessary :)) 5* The planet also renders wonderful greens / yellows at sunset :)) How long did the image take to render at what settings? I really want to be able to see an animation of this planet..flying round a few buildings... I may have a go at setting it up but it would be a very small viewport & possibly only at 20 FPS. <---- TBC

Thanks so much, everyone! @woz: After addition of the volumetric clouds and second surface - time of rendering has considerably increased. 23hrs :( AA5,GD6,Shadows-fast,size 1320x800. Animation.. Hm-m.. it's interesting :)

Looking good - great job! Personally, I don't like the 'sunny day on Earth' look of the clouds & sky - something more alien is called for...
