Description
The topic was about male heroes.
When I was thinking about heroes, I was thinking more about cops than heroes like Conan, because I think that their life is harder and deeds, while usually less obvious for public, are more important. They come in every form and shape but because I like to make fantasy renders more than modern ones I made them in fantasy setting too and made it look like an old picture.
Well, now I can add that those people can't, for certain, be Sam Vimes, Fred Colon and Deitrius because Vimes is older and smokes, Deitrius has a badge carved in his own stone and don't wear a chainmail and Colon is wearing a different helmet and isn't carring a halbert. Moreover, this is a day, while Guards are night people and besides, the street are too clean and calm for being a streets of Ankh-Morpork.
But aside of all those things it still can be considered a fanart of sort by people who like the Guards ^_^"

Great composition, characterisation and lighting, my friend. I love DISCWORLD, but first came across Terry Pratchett in his chronicles of the CARPET PEOPLE which I read to my boys, now well grown up. As you say, maybe the scene is too clean for the big city, but maybe they 'cleaned up' both the crime and the grime, in this quarter... ;o) Regards, john.

Nice work, especially on the facial features of the centre character. He reminds me of Bruce Campbell. :) I really must get around to reading those books...

I must get around to finishing those books. Only read about a dozen, and there's dozens to go. Sky One (whomever they are) actually made a Discworld movie. Someday maybe they'll show it over here. Yup...I see a little Bruce Campbell in there...great work.
