Used Chipp Walter's TerraPak Mountaintemplate and materials ( modified slopes )

1024x768 on my AMD X2 4200+ ( Dualcore 2x 2,2ghz )
light quality +4, fog/haze +4, spectral model
it took 8 minutes

I must say I don't like the way many pictures are "overshadowed". That is then more of a loss of detail.

outstanding terrain.I was playing with Terragen but when I redone my comp, I never reinstalled.seeing your render makes me want to use again
