Description

The grandfather one day when it was very young, there in their Galicia he looked at the horizon and he thought that other paths perhaps existed and to the wind of the north that was an old friend, I speak to him of their hurry it showed him their hands, that meek and strong they were empty and the wind told him: It builds your life behind the seas, beyond Galicia. And the grandfather one day in an old ship he left of Spain the grandfather one day like so many other, with so much hope the image loved of their old village and of their mountains it was taken recorded very inside the soul, when the old ship you takes away from Spain. And the grandfather one day it went up the cart of going up the life, it seized the plow, I pay the earth and the time ran and I fight watchman to plant the tree that point wanted the grandfather one day he cried under the tree, that finally it flourished he cried of happiness when he saw their hands, that a little but old, they were not empty. And the grandfather then when I was a boy, he spoke to me of Spain of the wind of the north, of their old village and of their mountains he liked so much to remember the things that I take recorded very inside the soul that sometimes quiet, without saying word, he spoke to me of Spain. And the grandfather one day, when it was very old, beyond Galicia he took my hand, and I realized that he already died then he told me: with very few forces and with less hurry promise me son that to the old village you will go some day, that to the wind of the north, you will say that their friend, to a new earth he gave him the life... and the grandfather one day was sleeping without returning to Spain the grandfather one day, as so many others with so much hope and at the time to the grandfather saw it in the villages, I saw it in the mountains in every morning and in each legend and in all the paths that I walked in Spain. This is a wonderful shot. The rich, warm sun on the door, the gentleman in the shade on the step, the seemingly candidness of the shot is great!

The evening shadows are falling upon the old gentleman. Many pass him by with a negligent glance. Yet he holds great stories and wisdom for us all. Beautiful work Roby!

¡Bravo! !!!!

The colors really enhance this portrait of a man. I would try darkening the top left a little as I find it a bit distracting.
