Description

The coral honeysuckle, or trumpet honeysuckle, as it is sometimes called, blooms in clumps that hang downward, but I turned this group of blooms "upside down" to provide a different focus. Their bright red color make it a popular shrub to attract hummingbirds. Thank you very kindly for your views and comments.

there are several around town here and they attract all kinds of insects also.one of the best captures I have seen. long ago I posted some and called them honeysuckle and was told by a few people that I was wrong about the name.however my mother had some right in front of our door and the fragrance was really nice to smell

What a most wonderful Honeysuckle I have never even heard of this type.. Beautifully captured.. I see they must produce nectar for the hummers, do they smell as wonderful as the more usual varieties.

This is a perfect photo maria,it's so full of joy and i like the presentation it adds to enjoying the image also imo. There are many colors in this one,but they don't conflict..it beautiful.
